This place continues to be our family's choice for hibachi lunch on the weekend. The show today was the best we have experienced and the food was delicious as always. Our server was sweet and attentive. The price for lunch is reasonable at around $13. We will continue to come back!
Absolutely love Takara, Food is always consistent and wonderful. The wait staff has always been great and friendly. The Grandchildren love having the food cooked right in front of them with the Chef entertaining us all. Our very favorite for special occasions.
A hidden gem in #Monroe, NC Steak & Salmon Hibachi Steak, medium of course. Seasoned lightly with teriyaki sauce. Cooked to the right tenderness. The Salmon wasn't dried out and paired perfectly with the steak and rice. The rice wasn't loaded in salt, which was a plus. Whatever season he used was the right choice. Shrimp Shumai A dumpling with shrimp inside. After a light dunk in soy sauce, the Shumai was delicious. And the dumpling wasn't soggy. Clear Soup It was pretty good. Had the hibachi salmon. Chef was entertaining and a good cook! Loved everything, just planning on asking him to go lighter on the salt for my taste next time. Everyone else loved the food and seasoning.
My nephew and I decided to go for a couple of different reasons. First, it was my birthday. Second, we've heard from friends and family that they had really good food and great staff. And as for me, I'm a sucker for great sushi. And they delivered way more than I hoped. We will definitely be going back!
Food was Great! Carried wife for her birthday. Everyone loved it. Little heavy on the veggies and rice light on the meat. Service was great and uplifting. The environment seemed uplifting and laughter.
